Without a brief
- About page: “Everyone write a bit about yourself.” You get one essay, two sentences, and a blank.
- Projects page: one teammate pastes the full report; another links a Drive folder.
- Someone spends the evening making it consistent.
Putting a group's writing onto one site
One person writes three paragraphs, another writes one line. The night before it's due, you are the one editing it all to sound like a single site. ClientReady tells everyone what each section needs, and roughly how much, before they start writing.
“If the tool could tell everyone roughly what each section needs to say, that might be useful. But honestly the four of us can get it done in one document — I'm not sure we'd switch tools just for that.”
A student who assembled a four-person course project into a website. From our interviews, translated.Home, About, Projects, Contact. ClientReady proposes the sections each one usually needs; you cut what your site doesn't.
Paste it into your existing Google Doc or send the link. Each teammate sees their sections, the question for each one, and an example of useful detail.
Answers come back already sorted by page. You see which sections are drafted, which are thin, and which are still empty, so the final edit is an edit, not a rebuild.
We mean that. The brief is designed to live inside the document you already have, so nobody has to register for another account to contribute. A separate app has to earn its place; this is the shortest test of whether it does.
